Dec 24, 2012 The company I work for has switched from hardware provider Dell to Lenovo. With the Dell computers came Windows OEM disks but Lenovo doesn’t deliver such disks. Lenovo has a preinstall with an option for recovery disks. Now I've 2 problems with that: 1. Microsoft makes use of SLP (system-Locked Preinstallation) for pre-activating Windows meant for volume licensing by OEM's like Lenovo and Dell, Windows 7 makes use of OEMID (identified by BIOS SLIC table) to identify OEM computers for pre-activation, crackers have now came up with automated utilities (as shown above) which make use of Lenovo's OEM key and OEMID to fake identification as an OEM.
I have a Lenovo computer that comes with a TON of bloatware and am replacing the Hard Drive with an SSD drive. I would like to install a clean Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit using the same Key that I already have, but I can not find a working download link for the Windows 7 SP1 x64 ISO file... Please point me in the right direction so that I can get this accomplished...
Thanks..
Download the corresponding edition of Windows 7 you have a license for from the following link. You can identify the edition on COA sticker attached to your machine, with at bottom or battery compartment (laptop) or top/side if its a desktop computer.

Wait while Windows attempts to activate.
If all goes well, within a minute, you should see this screen.
You can further confirm Windows 7 is activated by checking the Windows Activation status:
Notice Windows 7 now displays OEM within the Product ID to indicate the product channel it is licensed from. Please note, this also works with Windows Vista if you are still running that version.
If you are unable to activate Windows 7 using the Change product key method, you can try phone activation and speak with a call agent who will assist with reactivating Windows 7:
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
